The Labour candidates have promoted very little in the way of policies. They have instead concentrated on the Independent candidates owning HMOs. Jane Jones doesn’t own one. They also claimed in leaflets that Jane was denied reselection on that basis. They also claim they will end the bin strike but we already know that according to their leader there is a deal in place.
Jane Jones has done a lot in her 4 yrs and notable spearheaded the campaign against the suggested boundary changes that would have seen Stockland Green pushed in with Perry Barr. Our local MP didn’t get involved. She has been vocal in her support for Gaza…our MP abstained in the vote for a ceasefire.
